Has anybody modified their Kingpin rear brake pedal to a larger footprint?

I am curious if anybody has and what did you do?  I find the pedal a little on the small side and would like something a little beefier.

Suggestions?..

I installed the Ness Knurled brake/shifter pegs and installed rubber o-rings on the smaller round grooves. It feels a lot more substantial than the stock and looks cool to boot. $31 bucks at www.cruisercustomizing.com

Cycle solution sells this brake pedal but you still have to buy a Harley Style pad for it and it's $175.

The Kuryakyn long shifter peg, sold by many Vic dealers, will screw right in where the stock peg is. It is of the same style and appearance as the "Comfort Grips".

I got these on my 09 pin.  Like the look although they are the same size as the stockers.  I put them on the gearshift and brake side.  $18 a piece on e-bay.  eastern md cycles???  was free shipping too.

I did see a pedal type somewhere on the net and it was about $175.

Good luck...

Thanks for the ideas everyone.  I'm going to take a look at the cruiser customizing site and hopefully order one shortly.

Good riding.

Kury makes them in two lengths-long and short. I'm guessing you have the shorter of the two. I just checked my stock one against the present Kuryakyn one on my KP, and it's about 3/4-1" longer.
