Anybody close by to get together for rides here & there. There is some great riding to be had in this area, from desert to mountain passes, Lakes, streams, twistys and long straight streches of highway. We seem to have it all within a 100 miles of where I live.

yesterday the wife & I did a short ride, only 160 miles but it took 4 hours. we went up over the Mt. Rose hwy west of Reno, Nevada took a right on hwy 28 around Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City, banged a left on hwy 89 to South Shore Lake Tahoe and out over Luther Pass and through Gardnerville. then got on hwy 395 north back into Carson City turned east on hwy 50 back home. Traffic up around Lake Tahoe sucked but it was a great ride.

Pew, let me know when you come this direction. I am always up for something. Better do it fast while the sun is out and roads are dry and NOT white. CYA at Streets.

After Labor Day when the rugrats get back to school traffic isn't bad. Fall colors should be happening soon. Ebbetts and Sonora Passes should be quite colorful soon.
