Street Vibrations is coming up next month September 24th - 28th here in Reno, Nevada and Virginia City. Lot of venders and an awful lot of bikes. This area has some breathtaking scenery and lots of places to ride. Lake Tahoe is close with many mountain passes to ride over.

I'll be in Reno on Friday during the event but after that I'll be riding and partying with friends.

Heres a pic of Virginia City during the event from 2006 I took while I was working. after I got off that day I joined em there on my scoot.

If you can make this event I would recomend coming to it, loads of fun.

I would really like to join you as I've never ridden in your neck of the woods. The schedule doesn't work for me, but possibly I can plan for it next year. What's the weather like during that time of the year?
I currently ride a Victory Vision, but have owned a Harley Road King, Harley Softtail Special, Honda Goldwing, Yamaha YZF 600, Honda Shadow, Honda Helix, Yamaha Scooter, Honda CX-500, Honda 50 and a Moped!

Generally temps are in the 90's and clear. Last year it rained all weekend. You just never know what the weather will be here in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I seen it snow on the 4th of July, in fact growing up at South Lake Tahoe I've seen it snow every month of the year.

One item that irritates me with this event is a 12 oz cup of beer is $6.00 but i've enjoyed myself every year just walking around and checking out all the goods and the people.

Hopefully I will catch you all at Reno Cycles. Virginia City is a zoo. Hate that road with a bunch of drunks riding & driving over the DY.  Watch out for sand & gravel on the road too from cars taking the corners wide.

I talked to Roger from Fernley yeasterday and he is planning on meeting me at the shop.

CYA in Reno.

ps: I'm heading home Sunday via Sonora or Ebbett's depending on who joins me.

Wendy & I met up with Redd and R&R Bob at Reno Cycles & Gear and messed around a bit then went downtown to browse through the event, lots of people.

We stayed away from Virginia City except to ride through to get to Reno. Rumour had it that there was to be trouble between two rival MC's and we didn't want to be caught up in any rumble between them.

here's a few pics, 1st one is a nice Indian at the Vic dealer
