Here are some pics from this years V2V starting in Reno Nevada and ending in Ely Nevada, just another a hot ride through the desert with a bunch of Victory riders.

This is the start of leg 2 in Reno Nevada

A quick stop for breakfast in Fernley Nevada & meet up with another Vic rider ( Catman9r )

Catman didn't get to far with us as an unforseen oil leak got him trailered back home. Good thing there was a chase truck following with a trailer loaned to the group by Arlen Ness.

Oil leak was a quick fix for him but he didn't get to ride far with the group.

in the following pic is what alerted me that somebody had a oil problem. It took a while to get my bike cleaned up. He lost about 3 quarts of oil, a lot of it was on my bike. I was the 1st bike behind him.

here is one of the fuel stops, gas stations are spaced such that on a bike you better get fuel at each little town, notice the prices on the sign.

ah, we made it to Ely, thats me, the hairless one at the bar enjoying a nice cold Sam Adams

and a shot down the bar at others enjoying thier choice of brew

after a while it's time for some dinner and more socializing

here we have Tom ( left ) recieving the baton from Mike. Tom will lead the riders on the next leg to Salt Lake City.

Thats a good pic of the baton.

We went for a ride with Tom & Patty then we sucked down some homebrew and had buffalo burgers for lunch here at my home the day before we headed out to Ely, they're good folks to party with.

I had a good time hanging out with Tom and Patty under an awning next to the pool in Kansas City, nice folks Patty was bugged out by the Lightning and Thunder storm Friday night, she claimed that it dosent storm like that out in Cali. I told her I've only felt one Earthquake in my life and they can have those. I smoked a couple of cigars and drank a few beers that night. I felt like a$s the next day on my way back to St, Louis and they started thier trek home.

I may try to do an extra leg on the V2V next year, the baton pic was with my cell phone too I cant belive it turned out so well.
