Okay, let's hear it. Pros and cons. What do you think of TheVOG.net? Yes, it's different from other rider sites, but be honest here and let us know your thoughts and provide some input on how we can make it a better place.

1. SUPER.Great Compliment to the VMC site. Also, easier to post pics. by victoryrider99
I'm currently riding a 2010 Can-Am Spyder RT-S Premiere Edition. Yes, it's Not a Victory...but it appears to be a cutting edge three-wheeled touring vehicle. I have owned a Victory Vision Tour Premium with S1 L1s and a bunch of extras, Harley Road King, Yamaha Silverado, Harley Softtail Special, Honda Goldwing, Yamaha Royal Star, Yamaha YZF 600, Honda Shadow, Honda Helix, Yamaha Elite Scooter, Honda CX-500, Honda 50 and a Moped!

Thanks Noe. We're still in our pre-launch state and there's much more work to do and videos to post. Keep checking in as within the next week or so, I'll have a lot more "stuff" posted on the site. Thanks for your support and being a great early-adopter!

I have followed your gadgetguru story on the Vision. It was very well composed.

During that time I was waiting for my Vision to arrive.

I have since taken delivery of the Vision. What a ride!!!!!!!!!

Hi Andy,

I'd just like to say 'Hi' to you and the rest of the forum members.  I currently own an 03 GL1800 ABS Wing, 07 Kawasaki VN2000 and an 03 Honda Ruckus.  I've been doing as much research on the 'Vision' as I can and that is how I stumbled onto your Forum.  As of tomorrow I will probably have an 08 Vision and the Ruckus.  The Wing and the Vulcan are going down the road.  I really have enjoyed your videos and look forward to your Forum really taking off.

Thanks for your efforts!

Hi Guys (and Ladies), thanks for all the great words of encouragement. This site has been many months in the making and I still have a lot of work to do before it's truly ready for prime time. My current mission is making this site easy to use as let's face it, many of us are not that familiar with Social Networks, so I'm burning the midnight oil producing a variety of videos that explain how to use our advanced features. So, stay tuned as many new features and areas of content are in the making. Until then, feel free to pass the word to your riding buddies.

I've tried to make telling your friends about this site easy. Just click My Account, then press the Invite Tab. This will bring up a screen where you can enter up to five email addresses at a time. There's also a message box below the email boxes that you should fill in with a personal message to your buddies as since they might not know your screen name, you can put your Real Name in that box so they know they are being invited by you.

One of the cool features is that if you use this method of inviting your friends, they will automatically become one of Your Friends. This makes it simple to communicate with each other.

Continue to check out the How To Use The Site Videos as more are being uploaded all this week.

Thanks BlueDemon,

We understand that Social Networks are new to many riders and did our best to make it easy to navigate. There's a series of Videos on Using The VOG in the Videos area that hopefully will assist the members.

This site is stored on servers that are designed to be lightning fast. Since Social Networks are a complicated structure, it took moving the site three times to find a hosting company that could handle all the features and deliver super fast page-to-page speeds. While my job was to put together the video content and text/photo stories on the 2009 lineup, it seems that I've become the "face" of this site. While I retired a few years ago, this has been a fun project for me as I truly enjoy riding. I'm not an expert on repairs and mods and can only hope that others chime in to provide some good content in those areas.

Well Crikie...Now we know you'll let the Bicker Riff-Raff in. You've done a great job here, and you're a private Vic enthusiast, non Polaris supported. Excellent web site.

BTW...Blame Will, he left the key under the mat.

As a webmaster for a couple other websites(non bike related),I for one know the amount of work it takes on the backside of a website to accomplish what you have done here. VERY WELL DONE!

I'm looking forward to watching this website evolve and grow.

Great work Andy.

Great site! But the dark blue text on grey/black background has to go! LOL just take a little tweek to your webboard setup.

Thanks for the hard work!

I wish it was that easy changing the blue text color to another color, but it's not. We're listening to the members and we're working on it.

You have created quite a few discussions over on the VMC.

Some folks are quite accepting of another resource to meet other Vic owners, myself included. I dont see the VOG as a threat, but as an extension. I realize there is no afiliation with the VOG and the VMC, that is why this will be a good resource without POLITICS. Keep up the good work, if no one else has said it THANK YOU.

Andy

The site is great and your "vision" has legs IMHO !

I am sure the site will grow because it is well designed and it fills a niche that is currently wide open - a place for motorcycle riding enthusiasts (of the Victory variety) to go for useful and helpful INFORMATION that will enhance their knowledge and maximize their riding pleasure!

Great job so far - keep it up !

Love the music feature here and your choices in particular! (seem like we have similar tastes).

Joe Walsh (Rocky Mountain Way/Life's been good), Buckcherry (Crazy Bitch ... which I play almost dailyl) Stones; Scorpions; .38 Special all in my library too.

Only thing is I can't find two of my favorites Artists on iTunes: AC/DC (all their songs I love) and Kid Rock (I have Yo'dlin in da Valley, but not Cowboy & All Summer Long).

This may show my lack of technical knowledge, but how do I get those two artists into my iPod or into iTunes library?????

Regards - 10th Anniversary Drew.

Drew, I think Itunes only has music from musicians or music companies they have a contract with. If AC/DC chooses not to have their music for download on Itunes, then Itunes has to honor that. You can still upload from a cd into your itunes and then transfer into your ipod.

I thought so.

I'm trying to do away with CD's and go totally digital.

With AC/DC and Kid Rock, iTunes has a couple of their songs, but not all (not the good one's anyway). I really don't want to buy a bunch of CD's only to rip one or two songs from each.

I'm sure there are 'ways' to get only the songs I want via the internet, but I'm not that smart (yet).

Drew.
