September VRA Ride
We’re all going to jail!!!! Really!!!! The good news is that they won’t be locking us up and we won’t be hanged. Our South West Side September ride will have us visiting the Old Gonzales County Jail in Gonzales Texas. Built in 1885 this jail held your basic run of the mill bad guys, but it also housed a gallows where six documented hangings took place with the last occurring in 1921. The route will have us running West on Hwy. 90 through Eagle Lake, Hallettsville, Shiner, and finally into Gonzales. We’ll grab some lunch, tour the old jail, then head on back home.
As always all bikes are welcome, so invite your buddies to come along for the fun.
