This month's Chapter ride will take s around some of our favorite places to the North of town.
We will begin our ride by meeting at the Exxon Station on 149 in Magnolia, Tx:

Date: Sunday, August 24, 2008
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Riders meeting: 9:20 a.m.
KSU: 9:30 a.m.
We will be traveling up 149 thru Richards then take a detour over to Hwy 30 to go by Carlos, to visit Yankees Tavern, then its on to Bryan/College Station.
We will have an early lunch there in town near the TAMU campus. Afterwards we will visit the George Bush (The first) Presidential Library on the campus of TAMU.

The library opens around noon so we will not be in a hurry to get there. LOL Costs are $7 per person/ $6 for active or retired military.
Afterwards we gather back up to start heading back down the road toward Navasota via the backroads.
Going thru Navasota we travel down EVERYONE'S favorite road...3090. But only about halfway, we turn right and head to Anderson to get some pictures at the courthouse.
Then travel back to our starting point in Magnolia.
Time frame for this event is about 7 hours (+/-).
This will be an OFFICIAL CHAPTER Ride.
