Over the past few weeks, we've witnessed the once all-powerful Toyota fall to its knees and beg the forgiveness of its customers over the methods in which it handled, or more appropriately, did not handle a potentially dangerous defect in many of its cars. While I'm still not convinced that the full story and the extent of the defects has been revealed, much can be learned by what Toyota did and did not do and when they first realized a defect had occurred. Fair And Balanced. Yes, while that used to be the mantra taught in Journalism 101, it has become the slogan for Fox News. I'll go on record that I'm a real pain to deal with. Not a bad pain, just an annoyance! And yes, I do have a sense of humor! I say that as I... Read More
When I checked my email Tuesday night and found an email from Atlantic Motorcycles (aka, Victory of South Florida), I almost didn't open it. That's because lately, it seems this Dealer's emails are basically just re-prints of the current factory offers that were sent previously directly to Riders from the factory. For whatever reason, I decided to open it. Holy Crap! I couldn't believe what I was reading. But, I wasn't shocked. (Here's a link to the thread with more details on this situatio... Read More
